Full cycle (including development of new features, testing, maintenance and support) for a compiler and runtime of a TradeStation-like automatic trading language.

2000 Collection and reporting system for distributed testers organization

I worked on a system of collecting test results and their visual reporting for distributed testers organization, where separate testers may be located in different countries.

I created two web sites: http://www.thewisemoney.com and http://www.galiel.net from a concept to the production. Intensive JavaScript and PHP programming, maintenance, testing and validation. Sites are hosted in Linux / Apache environment.

1999 E-Business prototypes and systems development

I created several completely functional prototypes of eBusiness systems, including virtual used cars dealership, used equipment eStore for heavy machinery dealerships, and parts availability locator for dealership networks. These completely functional prototypes were used to promote and complete sales of consulting services.

1999 Inventory system front-end

This project was planned by CaterpillarТ Corp. IT department for permanent employees, but because of a deadline it was reallocated to consultants. I successfully completed this project at 400% of originally expected performance.

1999 MS Access application for billing in heavy equipment rental business

I created the billing application for the heavy construction equipment rental company. The application replaced old mainframe-based application, providing flexibility and additional features. It covered the whole billing cycle from entering rental reports to issuing invoices to customers, based on the best applicable rate.

1998-99 Sales research clientele database

Skills: VB, MS Access, C
I designed MS Access database and collected data on potential clientele (dealers of particular companies) from Internet with a total amount of several hundred records. Then I created VB front-end to provide convenient access to this database for the company sales department to assist their work on locating prospective clients.

Sep 1997 – Mar 1998 JEG Engineering Company, Columbia, MO

Contract project for: 

1997-1998 Online data collection and statistical analysis of online auctions 

Skills: C, C++, TCP/IP, Socket programming, HTTP protocol implementation
I performed statistical analysis of eBay online auctions data. The result of the analysis was used to create the report “How to sell on eBay”.
I also created the data collection http agent, that was used to gather the data.

1984-1996 Previous experience in Russia and former Soviet Union.

• Leading group of 3 programmers in development of communication (telephone) embedded software;

• Two articles in industry publications (telephony and SDL implementation);

• Development of software tools for automated (CASE) design of telecommunication software systems;

• Implementation of SDL design language for embedded telephone control real-time systems;
